Millet! François Millet--man of the humble peasants. Mr. Realism, at your service. And I don't mean realistic with the paint brush--though I suppose Picasso would disagree. I mean he painted real people, not idealized or historical subjects.

"Here is Millet's most famous work, The Gleaners.." I told Miss Featherduster.
