Scouting the Settlers

Dead of smallpoxThe Spanish Settlement at Saint Augustine

You are tired and hot because you have contracted smallpox, a European disease against your tribe has no resistance. Before you know it, you are dying.

You have died of smallpox.

A new scout must take over. You re-enter the story as the new scout. You journey to St. Augustine and learn from the Timucua what has happened to the scout who has preceded you.

Then you continue your investigation of the Spanish at Sainte Augustine.
