Scouting the Settlers

Spanish slaughter CholulansThe Spanish at Tenochtitlan, Mexico

Without warning, the Spaniards draw swords and lances and begin hacking to death the Cholula men. Four thousand will die that day. Before you can defend yourself, you are stabbed by a Spaniard.

You die of your wounds at the hands of the Spaniards. A new scout must take over.

You re-enter the story as the new scout. You journey to Mexico and learn from the natives what has happened to the scout who has preceded you.

You note your conclusion:

The Spanish will be good for your tribe.

Learn about the symbol of the buffalo.

The Spanish will be a threat to your tribe.

Learn about the symbol of the black widow spider.
